I was lost in frost,
all cold and lost.
Was around the world more than once.
I cost hardly a dime.
I was found by a hound in a park.
I was left behind.
Sorrow, sorrow, sob, sob.
Poor homeless me.
I wish I was not a chew toy
but instead a lovable child toy.
What is that I hear?
Is it my owner's bark?
Yes, it is joy, joy, happy, happy.
She has come back when the frost has gone.
I am joyful and happy because i will get played with again.
My owner is a petal on a flower.
A nice and delicate one.

My Lost Library Book by Taryn

I don't know why I
have no clue
But all I know is that
It is Overdue
So I searched in my
locker but all I found
was a paper. So
I looked in my drawer
and it was there. So
now I don't need to look everywhere.

ReplyDeleteI ran off to see a turtle,
just a piece of trash.
Nothing in any direction,
not even a drop or crumb.
I have no choice but to be finished.
I'm scared and feel locked up!
I see a figure coming toward me
"Hele mai," it screams.
I say mahalo, thank you.
I have found safety
I feel as other people are still there so,
I go back forgetting a full table of supper.

ReplyDeleteIn the store,
oh what a bore of bad grocery shopping!
I'm sitting down looking at the aisle,
My parents are near but when they disappear
I freaked out.
I looked around the store
so not a bore.
I wouldn't lie,
but I was going to cry.
I think they exited, so
I went out the door
and went to explore the town.
And you will never guess what I found!
Through the window of a coffee shop
I saw my parents.
I ran inside and hugged them.
Then we bought coffee and toffee for me!
Lost and Found in a Dream by Faith
ReplyDeleteSuddenly the plane was still.
I could not hear the engines running,
but the stillness of the night.
I fell onto the soft patches of sand,
while my friend Tiffany searched for food.
My cellphone was out of reception,
and we only had three ripe fruit to eat.
We explored the dark green forest,
Until I saw a silver cellphone in the sharp blade of grass.
I called for help on the cellphone,
and then three days later they came!
I rubbed my eyes and woke up,
happy it was just a dream.

ReplyDeleteIf I got lost at a big store,
I would go to the workers.
The workers would announce my name on the speakers
then, when I would get to talk
I would tell my mom where I am
She would go where I am, then
I would meet her there.
I would be found.

ReplyDeleteI will see lions sleeping at
the zoo like a baby sleeping in a cradle.
I will feel the monkeys soft furry head.
It will feel like the first time
I pet a dirty cat.
I will smell the flowers outside of the zoo.
It will remind me of Lilikoi fruit juice.

I went inside
My sister spotted a bride
I followed her all night
In my head I realized I was lost
So I asked the store boss
She called my mom on the speaker
My mom came in the front of the store
By the door
She came to get me.
And then she slapped me
After we went to go

ReplyDeleteI will be stuck on an island and
I will not have shelter
no water to drink,
no food to eat
and then I would have to make shelter.
I would have to find water
I would have to kill for food
and eat a little slow
because I would have to kill some more
everyday.
Lost at Target by Alyssa
ReplyDeleteIt's Black Friday, at midnight
With many people in sight
Target is crowded and filled with noise
I pull my mom's hand to go to the toys
I run to the toys to find a game
and when I looked back, my mom was gone.
I'm scared, I'm lonely, I'm starting to cry.
I can't find my mom, I don't know why?
Then all of a sudden, a stranger find me.
She asks why I'm crying? Where should I be?
I tell her I'm lost and need my mommy!
Then I hear a voice as loud as a whistle.
"Alyssa! Where are you?" the voice was familiar.
It's mom! I shout, as loud as a scream!
It's like I am stuck in a bad dream.
I'm running to the sound of my mom's voice.
I don't stop, I have no choice.
Finally, I see her and run to hug her.
I'm found, I'm happy, I'm with my mom.
I grab her hand and just held on.

then maybe I got lost in the grocery store.
And if I got lost there,
then maybe I might get lost at a field
or lost in a class on the first day.
If I get lost there,
then I might get lost at Toys R Us
Just looking at a toy.

ReplyDeleteI went to Black Friday all by myself.
Not knowing what to get.
Tons of people around, all soaking of sweat.
I'm hoping to find the best deal.

ReplyDeleteWhen a dog was at a dog show he was running around.
Then, he got lost.
He kept running trying to find the door.
It took a lot of time to find the people.
He found the door, he went in.
He got locked inside.
He tried to bark but nobody heard.
He tried to bark,
but the dog music was too loud.
When someone went in,
he ran out.
Then he saw the people,

ReplyDeleteWhen Liz goes shopping, she got kidnapped
by a man. She is scared of what might happen.
The man is as bad as a prisoner.
She hears noises from the back of the truck
and she finds they have parked the van.
She gets out
and runs as fast as a cheetah to get away.
Then Liz finds her grandma.
Her grandma takes her home,
but the kidnappers
try again!

ReplyDeleteI was lost then I was found.
Until I was found, I ran around.
I hold my head high with a tear in my eye.
This guy saw my lost face and told me
"I'll take you to a happy place.
I'll put a smile on your face.
Your mom is looking for you in another space."
He helped me get found,
now I'm not gonna run around.

but a little while later he didn't know where to go
so he followed his footprints.
But he didn't know where the right way was home. So,
he tried to remember the way home, but

ReplyDeleteI will never get lost again and I will tell you why.
The day I got lost, I found myself out in the middle of nowhere.
New faces, different places, and things I've never seen.
So I continued to walk to find the great path to lead me home.
But little did I know it brought me to a place I wasn't expecting.
An extraordinary place covered in flowers
and animals that you didn't even know existed
The best thing of all was that the sun never slept.
As time passed by I thought to myself "This is too good to be true!"
And sure enough as I looked over my shoulder
the flowers started to die,
the sun turned black,
and the animals started to shriek.
Smaller and smaller they became
until they turned to dust.
I started to get scared as this loud sound started beeping,
louder and louder in my ears.
Suddenly I opened my eyes to find myself laying in my bed. I said,
"My alarm?" That's when I realized
it was all just a dream.

ReplyDeleteFirst I was looking at a toy,
then my parents had to get milk really bad.
They said, "I will be right back!"
But I couldn't hear them because I was distracted.
So I went to look for my parents.
When my parents went back by the toys,
they saw I was not there.
So they were looking for me!
After that, they were shouting my name
I tried to follow their voices but
they were just too far from me.
Then I went outside the store and was looking at the car and the store.
Then I was waiting until my parents came outside the store
and they saw me
but I didn't see them.
Until they called me,
then I saw them.
I hugged them.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was at the mall
I ran to the toys to get a barbie doll.
(My mom and dad didn't know
I went to get a toy) and when I got back,
where my mom and dad had been standing
they were gone! I sat on
the floor,
crying. I was nowhere to be found.
But then I noticed I was in a shadow,
and it looked like two people
shoulder to shoulder.
Then I looked up, it was my mom and dad!
I got up from the floor and
hugged my mom and dad really tight and my mom and dad
said, "Don't ever run away from us like that!"
I am sorry but I really wanted to get this barbie doll.
But I learned my lesson and
the lesson is to never run away
in a mall
or else you will get lost just like I did!
