Experimental Similarities & Differences!

Hi Class!

Think about the solid, liquid, gas experiment we did as a class today, and the mystery powder (A, B, C) experiment you did on your own a few weeks ago. How were these two experiments similar? How were they different? Post your ideas in the comments below!

  1. They both bubbled up and they both had a effect to the water.
Todays expirament was diffrent becase we use a ballon and pout it on top of the cup.

  2. Today's experiment was different because,we did the experiment with the entire class, the powder experiment was an individual experiment.
They are the same because we both learned something about the Scientific Method, and how we can use that in our experiments, and we both made predictions before we conducted the experiment.

  3. The two experiments were different because the balloon eexperiment that we did was with the whole class, but the mystery powder was an experiment that we did ourselves. Also, the are similar because they are both experiments and they both were cool too!

  4. Today's experiment was different because we all did the experiment together and in the powder experiment we did it individualy. They were the same because we made predictions and recorded our information in our science notebooks.
