Here is a short snippet from part of our solid, liquid, gas experiment today:
Think about the solid, liquid, gas experiment we did today in class. What did you observe during the experiment? Was your hypothesis correct? Why or why not? What other questions could we explore using some of the same materials from today's experiment?
That experiment was super cool because the balloon started to blow-up.
ReplyDeleteI observed that the when Ms. Lilli moved the water and tablets around in the bottle is when the balloon started to blowup.
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I do not remember doing such experiments when I attended PALS many years ago. I believe I've seen this done on that program on PBS as well as on HawaiiNewsNow one morning several months ago. It's fantastic that you're doing this with your class!! And my niece (Crimson) is so proud to share your blog!
ReplyDeleteI observed that when Ms Lilli dropped the tablets in the bottle, the balloon started to blow up. Then i also observed that when Ms Lilli let us look up close, some parts of the tablet pieces were disolving and so thats when i started writing down in my notebook intresting stuff about what happened. I wish i can do this experiment again. It was really awesome and really intresting stuff!
ReplyDeleteMiss Lilli when I saw the movie it didn't go all the way to the end.
ReplyDeleteWhen are we doing another experiment.
I observed that when Mrs.Lilli put the Alka-selter tablets it started to bubble up. Then the balloon slowly raised and blew up with air. My observation was correct because it did bubble, also the balloon filled with air but did not pop. The last thing is that not all the Alka-selter tablets dissolved pieces were still there. I hoping we get to do another experiment during science!
ReplyDeleteThank you for all of the comments everyone!
ReplyDeleteAuntie Theodene, thank you for the encouragement and for talking with Crimson about her school experiences! Feel free to stop by the blog and share with us any time : )
Alyssa, when will we do another experiment? We will do another experiment soon!
Izumi, Lily, Tyra and Zaysha, you wrote some awesome observations!
